			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client is currently looking for a <strong>Journeyman Pipefitter</strong> to join its Maintenance group.  </p>
<p> Working within the Mechanical Department, you are self-motivated and will work with minimal supervision to provide support on a daily basis for the Lloydminster Asphalt Refinery. </p>
<p> Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Construct, maintain, and repair pressure vessels and pressure piping systems</li>
<li>Maintain steam distribution systems (traps and tracing)</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment</li>
<li>Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner according to guidelines and regulations</li>
<li>Assist with Project execution</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<p> Our client’s ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:  </p>
<ul>
<li>A valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter Certificate or Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter Certificate</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; related experience in a Refinery or related oil industry setting</li>
<li>Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) </li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces</li>
<li>Knowledge of Quality Control requirements</li>
<li>Strong focus on Safety, Environment and equipment integrity</li>
</ul>
<p>This is a safety sensitive role and as such you will also be required to pass our client’s pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.</p>
<p> This position requires the incumbent to operate a vehicle for which a valid driver&#8217;s license is required. The final candidate will be required to provide a recent (ie. issued within previous 4 weeks) original driver&#8217;s abstract for a 5 year period, prior to starting work with our client,  for review by our client’s Health and Safety group.</p>
